Thanks for checking out my breed templates! My templates are created with multiple equine sliders. I recommend you have all of them! Check Equus Sims' forum for where to get sliders. Unless otherwise noted, my templates have not yet been approved by any Equus Sims organizations. The downloads are in .sim format. That means you should save them directly to your "SavedSims" folder.
Templates do not come with coats! Pictures of templates with coats are just for reference. Please customize and add pretty colors and markings of your own! I'd love to see what these templates look like in your game! Tag me on tumblr "howdoievensimblr".

Pony of the AmericasMy first template - a little POA for you. The POA is much like a little Appaloosa. They typically resemble the more classic Appy physique vs. the more modern sport type, complete with sort of scraggly looking manes and tails - I think it just adds to their charm!
POAs are known for their spunky personalities. I recommend using the traits Ornery, Genius, and Brave. CamargueThe Camargue is a mostly feral pony breed native to France. They are extremely hardy and easy keepers. Domesticated Camargue ponies are typically used for ranch work.
I didn't include any coat pics for this guy, but all Camargue ponies are light grey in color. I recommend using the traits Friendly, Obedient, and Brave. Shetland PonySeriously is there anything more adorable than a sweet, roly-poly Shetland? I have so many memories of the ponies from pony camp when I was a kid, so I wanted to make a little sim replica.
I recommend the traits Genius, Ornery, and Lazy. Gotta love their little stubborn selves! |
ConnemaraMy second template - one of my favorite breeds: the Connemara of Ireland. This game little pony is known for being hardy, friendly, and excelling over fences.
Connemaras are very people-friendly ponies. Because of that + their ability to jump the moon, I recommend using the traits Agile, Friendly, and Obedient. American SaddlebredThis gaited breed is known for its friendly personality and sprightly action. My template is more of a harness/halter type vs. the sport horse type.
I chose the traits Friendly, Nervous, and Fast. Missouri Fox TrotterThe MFT is a good natured gaited breed often used for trail riding and ranch work. They exhibit the 4-beat ambling gait between a walk and a trot. Often described as trotting with the front legs and walking with the back.
